Bob Fink

Bob Fink is the founder of Educational Resources of Minnesota and the author of eleven graduate level courses.  Four of the courses he has written, Achieving Peak Performance, Developing Excellence in Others, Connecting With Today’s Youth, and Teaching to Make the Grade are week long classes that are taught at various locations throughout the Midwest.  He has also written seven video courses, Setting the Standard for Excellence, Leading to Make a Difference, Teaching to Impact Lives, Creating an Environment for Success, Teacher Toolbox 101, Teacher Toolbox 201 and Energize Your Environment.

Thousands of k-12 educators throughout the United States have thoroughly enjoyed Bob’s classes because they are up-to-date, practical, usable and “real life.”  The concepts discussed in all of his courses are beneficial and applicable to anyone who works with today’s youth.  He is deeply committed to making a positive, significant, lasting difference in the way kids learn.

Bob has been an elementary classroom teacher for the past 20 years.  He is currently a fourth grade teacher in Springfield, a small rural community located in Southwestern Minnesota.  Bob earned his Masters Degree in Education from Minnesota State University, Mankato.  Along with is teaching duties, he has coached and advised numerous sports and extracurricular activities.

Bob and his wife, Heidi, have three children; Alex, Taylor and Isaac.

Holli Hoffman

Holli received her B.A. in Theatre Arts and English from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities and her M.A. in Secondary Education from the University of St. Thomas, St. Paul. She has been an English teacher at Southwest High School (Minneapolis Public Schools) since 1997. Holli is strongly committed to public education and engaging students with creative and academically rigorous curriculum. Holli currently teaches students through interdisciplinary collaborations and artistic residencies within the community. This type of approach allows her and her colleagues to research and support partnership-based education reform that brings the arts to the core of the curriculum. In 2005, Holli was one of two teachers in the state of Minnesota to be the recipient of the NBA Timberwolves ‘Holiday Heroes’ Award.
