This course is designed to give professionals knowledge and skills that will make a real difference in helping students/athletes reach their fullest potential. The focus of this class will be on developing leadership skills and the key attitudes and actions that educators must strive for in order to impact the lives of those around them. This class will provide “practical” insight and guidance on how to become a more effective leader so that today’s youth will be motivated to learn, excel, and sustain high levels of performance in all facets of life. Class activities will include group discussions, ways to develop character in today’s youth, guest speakers, team building activities, and time to reflect and examine one’s effectiveness as a leader. Students will also be given the opportunity to view videotapes about mental training, leadership, and teaching/coaching excellence featuring some of the top speakers in the nation. This powerful course will help educators, administrators, and coaches at all levels to inspire, guide and teach today’s youth to be the best they can be!
