“I thought this was a great way to earn graduate credit hours. I have never taken a video course and now I know I would enjoy doing more in the future. It has been a very positive experience. Everything was laid out nicely, which made it easy to take notes nad answer the questions. The videos were interesting to watch and full of ideas that you can go straight to your classroom with. Some ideas presented confirmed that I have been doing some good things already. This made me feel good. I am excited to start my new school year with the action plan and application ideas.”

“I thought that this course was very informative and a great way to reflect on some of the things I do and what I can change. As a teacher I need to remind myself that how I teach is as important as what I teach and that I can be a positive influence on young minds. This type of course is so different from actually being in a classroom but I find that with time and economic restrictions it is a wonderful way to take a class. I have taken a few online and do not like that format – I enjoy this a great deal more, being able to watch the videos and read when I have the time is priceless and I think I get more out of the class.”

“I thought this course was very informative. It offered useful and practical strategies that can easily be applied to a classroom in a minimal amount of time. I enjoyed taking this course because I could work on it at my own leisure. This was a big plus as I have a young family and I didn’t have to be away from them while I took a college class. This course will benefit me in my third grade teaching position because it gave me wonderful ideas on how to activate my classroom and get my students up and moving. It also gave me techniques on how to manage conflict and work with parents. These are two very difficult areas that teachers have to deal with, but I feel confident that I will be able to handle any situation in a positive, calm and professional manner from now on.”
