I enjoyed the new ideas from the presentations and the book. These ideas have a good carry over to education. There are a whole lot of new tools that I am going to try out this year. This class is worthwhile for any educator to have under their belt. Thank you for providing such classes. -Steven Summers, Pine Ridge, SD
Since I graduated from college over eighteen years ago, I have taken well over forty college credit hours. Some of the classes have been very insightful and were great tools for becoming a better teacher. Unfortunately, there have been many that I have had to force myself to get through due to the fact that I saw no purpose in them. I knew they were not going to help me become a better eduator. They were, basically, a waste of my time. This course, Teacher Toolbox 301, has truly brought new insight and knowledge into my life. The things that I have found the most valuable while taking this course, I plan to institute them into my class and life this year. I loved the inspirational videos. The speakers were amazing. -Sara Ladd, Evart, MI
This course was a great way to really rejuvenate my teaching career. Other graduate level courses I have taken involved disucssion forums, tests, and direction to completing an endorsement; however, this course was real life and it made sense not only for me in the classroom, but for me in dealing with other people. It was very applicable and it made sense! I really do see myself utilizing this information with students and with colleagues. I plan to share some of the information with my principal and hope to use some components of this course in in-service meetings and in other trainings. Overall, a great course! -Brenda Smith, Scottsbluff, NE
This was my first graduate course. I thought the videos were great. The presenters did a nice job of sharing their knowledge. This course will be beneficial for me in the future because I was able to reflect on my teaching, and how I am as a colleague and as a person. I look forward to taking more classes to continue learning, but also to grow as a teacher. -Angie Garman, Clearlake, IA
I enjoyed the course. The content built upon what I already had in my teaching toolbox. The content that dealth with working with people was excellent. I felt this course had real world application and provided the student an opportunity to be introspective of past, current and future practice. I have applied some of what I have learned to date and have received definite benefit. -Chuck Walker, Fort Calhoun, NE
