Bob Fink is the founder of Be A Great Teacher. Now retired from teaching after 32 years in the classroom, Bob continues his work developing presentations for professional development courses and creating courses for Be A Great Teacher. Bob has been the recipient of multiple honors, including Springfield Teacher of the Year, Regional WEM Outstanding Educator Award winner for Teacher Achievement, the Minnesota State Class A Baseball Coach of the Year, Gatorade, and Minnesota Viking High School Football Coach of the Week. He was a proud staff member of Springfield Elementary School which was recognized as a National Blue Ribbon School in 2022. He is the founder and CEO of Educational Resources of MN and the home of Be A Great Teacher. For the past 23 years, Bob has written graduate-level, professional development classes that have been taken by thousands of teachers nationwide. Bob is the proud father of Isaac (23), Taylor (27), and Alex (30).
Ann-Marie Hyland is the Owner of Be A Great Teacher. She has been teaching in a college prep school and as an adjunct faculty member and course designer at the community college level since 1999. Ann-Marie teaches French and Fitness of Mind and Body, as well as serving as the incoming student coordinator. Ann-Marie has been awarded Outstanding Teaching awards at all of the institutions where she works, and is involved in her school, fitness, and faith communities. Ann-Marie has a particular passion for creating a positive environment wherever she goes, and for using mindfulness strategies and techniques to optimize performance in work, at school, and in family life. She is thrilled to a part of the Be A Great Teacher Team, and looks forward to collaborating with and learning from Bob to continue to produce the very best graduate level courses for educators. She looks forward to sharing her passion for teaching and learning for years to come.
