This is the 3rd course that I have had the pleasure of taking from Educational Resources and I think it is the BEST! Every lesson helped me become a better teacher. Each lesson reminded me about the joys and rewards of teaching. This course was a manual that showed me the important things I can do (and am doing) to make a difference in my students’ lives. It’s full of brilliant, simple, practical ways to connect with students and help them develop in an atmosphere that fosters mutual respect, hard work and a love for learning. I thought this course was fun and very practical. I like courses that I can apply to my teaching and classroom. I felt the assignments were not just busy work. I thought this was an outstandingly common sense course. It contained endless ideas about connecting with kids and teaching them more than content. It was much more practical and beneficial than most grad courses I have taken. The activities forced me to apply what was read and was not endless busy work.
