"Teach to Reach is the third course I have taken in this program. I have just completed my 25th year of teaching and coaching and I still find, not one, but many valuable techniques to use in my History classes and with my basketball team. If a veteran techer like myself can find useful methods and continuing to learn, just think what it can do for a beginning educator. Keep up the great work." Tom Bingham, East Palestine, OH
"This course was really good. All of the presenters were interesting to listen to. I have taken all of my graduate classes from Educational Resources and I just keep coming back for more. I love your classes." Chad Johnson, Hampton, IA
"This is the third class I have taken from Educational Resources and they have not let me down a single time. The coursework is relevant and manageable as a full-time working mother. I appreciate that I am actually learning how to better myself as a teacher, instead of just putting in the hours to get credit. I would encourage and have encouraged others to take courses from Educational Resources." Kristen Jostand, Milford, IA
"This was an exceptional course! I have gained knowledge to help me become a stronger leader and a better role model for the students/athletes that I teach and coach. This course was full of practical, easy to implement concepts and strategies that I will be able to utilize within my classroom and volleyball program." William Root, Grand Island, NE
I thought this course was full of practical strategies, inspirational stories, and motivating ideas all geared to develop a positive learning atmosphere and to boost the self-image of students. This course taught me and reminded me of the important things that I need to do as a teacher in order to make a positive, life-learning impact on the lives of the students I work with. Overall, this course was well worth the time and money. It is one I would recommend to my co-teachers. -Tobiann Waters, Lincoln, NE
The course, Teach to Reach, did a nice job giving a variety of information that was practical and usable ways for teachers to foster an atmosphere of respect, hard work, and love of learning in a classroom. Compared to other graduate courses I have taken, this one is a step ahead and helping participants make decisions about how they want their classroom to feel. It encourages setting a mission for your teaching and helps identify what legacy teachers want to leave when they move on. -Jennifer Peterson, West Liberty, OH
This course was everything that I hoped it would be. It was filled with information that I can easily put to use in my classroom. The course work was easy to follow. I was able to work at my own pace and at times when it was convenient for me. I look forward to completing more of these classes in the future. -Matt Connor, Council Bluffs, IA
This course gave me many new ideas and reinforced several things I am already doing to have a positive, nurturing classroom. The ideas in this course will help me to be a stronger teacher, more effective colleague, and a leader in my school. I like that this class is full of concepts and ideas that I can start using immediately in the classroom and directly apply to my job as an educator. I also appreciate that I can take this class while teaching full time. -Amy Boyles, Hiawatha, IA
I found this course to be beneficial to my current teaching position. I have taken other courses with Educational Resources as well as other graduate courses from other universities. What I most like about these courses is that I am able to complete the work on my own time, at a pace that best suits my busy schedule. I also enjoy learning new things and I feel that this course has provided me with strategies and tools I can immediately put to use in my classroom. I have come away with feeling energized and excited about getting back in the classroom to try all of the new things I have learned. -Amanda Strayer, Lewistown, OH
This is not the first class that I’ve taken through Be A Great Teacher, and like the other classes, I really enjoyed it. The videos were all relevant and I thought that the course objectives were clear. I definitely found some strategies that I am going to implement into our athletic department, baseball program, and in the classroom as well. Along with the other courses I’ve taken through Be A Great Teacher, I’ll definitely recommend this course with my colleagues. I really appreciate the ability to work on this at your own pace. -Heath Reichle, Paullina, IA
