I have thoroughly enjoyed taking the course GIFTS. I especially involved diving into the book “50 Strategies to Boost Cognitive Engagement”. It was nice to see some of the things that I do within my classroom identified in the book. It was also nice to learn about some new strategies that I can incorporate into my classroom. Timothy W., IA.

Another great course from Be A Great Teacher! I really loved the lesson by Addison Sadler called Creating Competent Communicators. She was an enthusiastic presenter and gave me lots of easy to apply strategies for my classroom. The book for the course, 50 Strategies to Boost Cognitive Engagement, is an excellent source for ideas I can implement immediately. It expanded my thinking about how to reach the higher levels of thinking that is required of student for full engagement. Amy K., IA.
