This class was an excellent teaching re-energizer! I took away so many quick tips—not only for teaching but also for getting along with others and managing life in general. I will be able to put these strategies to use immediately, both in my classroom and in my daily life. This class reassures me that I can have a long and fulfilling career in education if I use these principles as a guide! Jill M., MN.

I enjoyed learning all the tips about becoming a better educator and avoiding burnout in the field of education. There were many things I learned that I will be able to take into the classroom with me and apply to how I work with my students. This course was much more manageable than other graduate courses I’ve taken and I appreciate that everything I learned will be applicable to what I do in the classroom. Catherine C., OH.

I really enjoyed this course and would recommend it to another educator. I really enjoyed all the TED Talks and the videos by Fink and Hyland. I did not like the articles we had to read. They were okay, but I definitely enjoyed learning from the videos better. I did like that we were given a choice to read 3 of the 5 listed. Overall, I enjoyed my time learning from this class and look forward to working some of it into my own classroom! Aimee D., OH

This class was exactly what I needed. It was full of practical, realistic strategies and little tidbits that I know I’ll take back into my classroom and actually use this fall. I really enjoyed the content and the way it was delivered—it made the class feel meaningful and, honestly, enjoyable to take. Sometimes PD can feel like just another thing on the to-do list, but this felt relevant and refreshing. Thank you! Jennifer A., MN.
