“I have never taken an independent study course before so I was unsure what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised. I thought the text book was easy to read, understand and very applicable to any age level that one works with. The assignments for each chapter were clear and yet thought provoking. I thought in general the material was practical. I enjoyed the independent part of this class, and it fit extremely well into my summer schedule. I would definitely take one again.” Leah Pennings, Orange City, IA

“The Win-Win Classroom was a practical, down-to-earth course that clearly will benefit my students and my teaching. It taught concepts and strategies that teachers will use on a daily basis in their classrooms. The assignments were clear and required you to make a plan of action. This was a great feature, because your plan of action will be easily implemented into your teaching. I would recommend this course for a teacher at any level in their teaching career.” Rae Ann DeSutter, Argenta, IL

“I am so thankful that my coworker shared her mailer with me. I learned so much! I wish our professional development days would offer material like this. All teachers, coaches, and administrators would benefit from this course. This is my first course and I plan to take more. I have no doubt that I will definitely use the material. “I have come to expect engaging material from Educational Resources and “The Win-Win Classroom” was just that. The text, Top 20 Teachers is fabulous and I know I will re-read it and share it! I will use this course to re-energize my fourth year in preschool. I have seen too many educators become cynical. I refuse to drop “below the line.” Thanks for the inspiration and new ideas.” Amee H., NE

“I would like to thank Educational Resources for making it possible for teachers to take courses in this manner. This is the fifth course (two on-site and three correspondence) that I have taken and I like the options. The ability to start a course at any time of the year is important. The course was very relevant. The book has many good ideas that are applicable to the classes I teach. This course will benefit me as a special education teacher of math, reading, and social skills. I will easily be able to incorporate the ideas from the readings into my classes. I wish I had taken this class years ago. I could have avoided many pitfalls and many headaches.” -Richard N., IA
