“I appreciate that this course encouraged us to consider ways to build better trust in the classroom in order to raise student engagement. Specifically, I enjoyed the sections where I had to evaluate strategies/assignments I already use and whether or not they are effective. This gave me the opportunity to apply the concepts of this course in order to improve my lessons.” –Nathan C., NE

This class is everything I hoped it would be. It did not give me a recipe for raising motivation for my students, but it gave me a framework to lead and guide me. I appreciated this because all students and situations are different. This framework allows me to see what I can do now to be better for my students for all time.” Alicia P., OH

“I felt the course made me reflect on strategies being implemented in our building to assist student needs. I have many students with academic struggles or learning disabilities. I feel this course allowed me to reflect on some of their strategy or systems, and possibly try to implement more effective ways to make a difference in students academic careers.”–Trevor O., NE

Great class to take to really learn about ways I can better the relationships between myself as the teacher and my students. It was challenging yet doable. I was able to complete the course on my own time and not be as stressed with the time given. Amanda M., IA.
